Our Story

Lupiho started in 2018 when three coffee enthusiasts decided to open a takeaway spot on Clapham Road. We noticed that people in our neighbourhood wanted good coffee without the wait or the noise of crowded cafes. Our first location was a small counter with just two espresso machines and a display case for pastries.

From day one, we focused on speed and consistency. Our baristas trained for three months before serving their first customer. We tested 47 different coffee blends before selecting our signature roast from a supplier in Bristol who sources beans directly from farms in Colombia and Ethiopia.

Within the first year, we served over 85,000 cups of coffee. By 2020, we expanded our dessert range to include 12 different items, working with a pastry chef who previously worked at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Mayfair. Each dessert is prepared fresh daily using ingredients from verified suppliers across the UK.
